CBL Cannabinoids

CBL

Cannabicyclol, or CBL, is a minor cannabinoid found in cannabis. It is a degradation product of cannabichromene (CBC), which means that when CBC breaks down, it can turn into CBL. CBL is a natural cannabinoid and is not typically produced synthetically.

There is limited research on the potential benefits of CBL, but some studies suggest that it may have anti-inflammatory properties and could potentially help to reduce pain. However, more research is needed to confirm these findings.

As for side effects, there is currently no evidence to suggest that CBL has any significant adverse effects on human health. However, as with any cannabinoid, it is important to use CBL products responsibly and in moderation.

CBL is a nonintoxicating cannabinoid. As such, it does not possess psychotropic properties and does not provide the euphoric "high" typically associated with delta-9 THC. 

Following the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp-derived CBL is federally legal. Though state-specific regulation is possible, there hasn't yet been any developments on this end. 

For the time being, CBL remains relatively understudied. As a result, its pharmacological properties have not been properly defined. However, researchers suggest that it might provide similar benefits to CBD (anti-inflammatory, antioxidant etc).
